  • 1 cup watermelon puree

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and water.
  2. Stir until smooth and then add watermelon puree.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a steaming bowl lined with parchment paper.
  4. Steam for about 20 minutes until the mixture becomes translucent.
  5. Let it cool down, then dust your hands with cornstarch and take small pieces of the dough.
  6. Form the dough around small pieces of watermelon to create mochi.
  7. Dust with additional cornstarch to prevent sticking and serve.
