A delicious and comforting dish featuring fried cabbage and turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Chop cabbage and add it to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the cabbage is tender.
  5. Chop the cooked turkey bacon and stir it back into the cabbage mixture.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of vinegar.
  • Can substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon.
