A delicious and comforting cheese herb potato gratin that is perfect as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried herbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Thinly slice the potatoes and layer them in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream, cheese, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour it over the layered potatoes.
  4. Dollop the top with butter.
  5. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
