- 2 pounds chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups cooked rice, for serving
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Add chicken and coat well.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add onion, garlic, ginger, and crushed tomatoes to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Stir in heavy cream before serving.
- Serve over cooked rice.
