This Rice Pilaf recipe combines the rich flavors of turkey bacon with perfectly cooked rice for a delicious meal.

  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft.
  3. Add rice to the pot and stir until it’s coated with oil.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked.
  6. Chop the cooked turkey bacon and stir it into the rice before serving.
