Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the oil, sugar, and buttermilk until combined.
  4. Add the eggs, food coloring, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  7. While the cake is baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating together the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
