A delicious twist on traditional tres leches cake, infused with the rich flavor of pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachio milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and eggs until fluffy.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then add vanilla and pistachio milk.
  5. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool, then poke holes and soak with condensed milk and heavy cream mix.
  7. Top with chopped pistachios before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, let the cake sit overnight to absorb the soaking liquid.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk to taste.
