  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a round cake pan, melt the butter and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over it.
  3. Arrange the peach slices on top of the brown sugar mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and blend until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the peaches in the pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
