1 loaf brioche bread
4 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 slices turkey bacon
Instructions
Slice the brioche bread into thick slices and place in a greased baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Pour the mixture evenly over the bread slices, pressing them down to soak up the liquid.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and slightly puffed.
Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
Serve the French toast hot, topped with crispy turkey bacon.
Notes
