- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and cut it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the buttermilk until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently before rolling it out to about 1 inch thick.
- Cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.
- In another bowl, season chicken with hot honey, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.
- Assemble the biscuits by placing chicken in between them and drizzling with additional hot honey.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
