- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients.
- Add eggs and orange juice, mix until a dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface and let rise for an hour.
- Roll out the dough, spread butter, sugar, and zest. Roll and cut into pieces.
- Place in a greased pan and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
