  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and orange juice, mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface and let rise for an hour.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread butter, sugar, and zest. Roll and cut into pieces.
  6. Place in a greased pan and let rise again.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle over rolls.
