  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the onion and green bell pepper until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Once the beef is cooked through, place the turkey bacon back into the skillet and mix well.
  5. Divide the beef mixture among the hoagie rolls and top each with provolone cheese.
  6. Broil the sandwiches in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
