Gingerbread Fudge – One Bite and Instant Christmas Spirit

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and butter over medium heat. Stir until melted.
  2. Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in chopped pecans.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Let it cool at room temperature until set, then cut into squares.

Notes

  • For a stronger ginger flavor, add more ground ginger.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
