A quick and delicious beef stir fry that will make you forget takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add vegetables and stir-fry until tender.
  5. Mix in soy sauce and oyster sauce.
  6. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with water.
  7. Serve hot over rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef for 30 minutes before cooking.
