Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 2 cups sweet corn
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add corn, potatoes, and onion on top.
  3. Pour chicken broth over the ingredients.
  4. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken and stir in heavy cream.
  7. Mix well and serve warm.

Notes

  • This chowder can be thickened with additional cream or cornstarch.
  • Great served with crusty bread.
