A delicious twist on classic wontons with crispy chicken and savory turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, crumbled turkey bacon, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, and green onions.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold over to create a triangle, sealing the edges tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the wontons until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
