A quick and easy creamy tomato garlic pasta recipe that can be prepared in just 30 minutes.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes (with juice), cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix until fully coated.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
