  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  4. Stuff the cooked pasta shells with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish, place the stuffed shells on top, and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with sautéed mushrooms and spinach.
