Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, finely chopped
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in the seafood stock and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the crab meat and shrimp. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
