Ingredients
Scale
1 pound beef, thinly sliced
1 pound broccoli florets
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper to create the marinade. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water to steam. Cook until the broccoli is bright green and tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
Select flank steak for better texture.
If you like your broccoli crunchy, reduce the steaming time.
