  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth and water, then bring to a simmer.
  2. Add the diced carrots, celery, onions, and garlic, and cook until tender.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the pot and cook until no longer pink, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk until a dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling dough onto the surface of the soup.
  6. Cover the pot and simmer for about 15 minutes, allowing the dumplings to cook through.
  7. Shred the cooked chicken and return it to the pot, stirring to combine.
