  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix the yeast mixture and olive oil into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Roll out the dough and place it in a deep-dish pizza pan, making sure to cover the sides.
  7. Layer the mozzarella cheese on the dough, then add bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
  8. Pour crushed tomatoes over the top, and sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
