  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom

  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cardamom.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternate with sour cream.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before serving.
