  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the diced apples, and mix until just combined.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cupcakes.

  • For an extra touch, top with whipped cream and additional diced apples.
