A comforting and hearty Cajun Potato Soup recipe made with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  3. Stir in the chicken ham and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • This soup can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
