- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cooked rice
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add ground turkey, onion, and garlic to the pot, cooking until the turkey is browned.
- Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add chopped cabbage, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Stir in the cooked rice and crumble the turkey bacon on top before serving.
