Boston Cream Cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of classic Boston cream pie with a luscious cheesecake base.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla and mix until combined.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
  7. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and chocolate chips on low, stirring until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  8. Once cheesecake is cool, pour the chocolate ganache over the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Let the cheesecake sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before slicing for easier serving.
  • For a decorative touch, add whipped cream on top before serving.
