  • 1 package chocolate cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  5. Once done, let it cool before adding sour cream on top and refrigerate.
  6. Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
